Captures serious cinema quality

Achieve professional Canon colour with rich gradation via the 4K Super 35mm CMOS Dual Gain Output (DGO) even in environments with various levels of brightness. You will be amazed at the rich contrast and gradation even in shadows with the DGO offering broad ranging tonality 16+ stops. The newly developed DIGIC DV7 image processor boasts high data processing power whilst suppressing noise and the EOS C70 is equipped with a CMOS sensor designed to manage both high dynamic range and Dual Pixel CMOS AF simultaneously. Discover exceptional quality in a new generation of optical technology with Canons RF lenses. The 12 Pin RF mount and shorter flange distance expands the quantity and speed of communication between the lens and camera, bringing an enhanced level of autofocus, image stabilisation and customisable control. 4K 120fps is available when recording in 10 bit 4:2:2 in both XF-AVC or MP4 or up to 180 fps at 2K.

Coupled with a high frame rate recording capability, Dual Pixel CMOS AF and audio recording as well as enhanced image stabilisation, the EOS C70 is a truly formidable beast.

Workflow is so easy and manageable

The EOS C70 features two versatile SD cards lots supporting UHS-II cards enabling high bit rate recording and a variety of simultaneous recording options. It also supports multiple file formats offering flexibility during recording delivering the convenience of say a XF-AVC recording in one slot and an MP4 in the second slot or a card of 2K and one of 4K resolution. So many professional interfaces on such a tiny body from two mini XLR inputs, a microphone and Headphone terminal, Timecode terminal , USB-C terminal and remote with a full sized HDMI supporting 4K 10-Bit output. The ease of handling and ability to manage a job on the fly is further enhanced by the fast processing and face detection offering dramatic improvements to distance measuring and tracking reliability. Using Focus Touch Control you can precisely set the cameras specific focus area by simply touching the LCD.
